Canada
Canadian taxpayers may have the opportunity to support Penn while benefiting directly from the tax advantages provided by law in Canada.
As a Canadian taxpayer, you may receive a tax deduction for your gift to Penn, according to Section 3503 of the Canadian Income Tax Regulations. Essentially, the tax benefits are the same as if you donated to a Canadian charity.
Penn will provide you with a customized receipt for your Canadian tax purposes. If you need a copy of your receipt, please contact Muriel Mills.

Thanks to Penn’s partnership with Transnational Giving Europe (TGE), European taxpayers may have the opportunity to support Penn while benefiting directly from the tax advantages provided by law in your country.

Hong Kong
If you are a Hong Kong taxpayer or a dual Hong Kong and U.S. taxpayer, you may be eligible to realize tax benefits by making your gift to Penn through our University of Pennsylvania (HK) Foundation, Ltd.

Israel
Because of a tax treaty between Israel and the U.S., you can use the receipt provided to you by Penn to credit or deduct your charitable contributions made to the University in the computation of your annual tax liability.
Please note: The amount of this credit or deduction cannot exceed 25% of your U.S. taxable source income.

Mexico
As a Mexican taxpayer, your gift to Penn may be tax-deductible. The University of Pennsylvania is listed in Publication 78 of the United States Internal Revenue Service. Therefore donations to Penn by Mexico taxpayers meet the requirements necessary to be considered tax-deductible.

If you’re a United Kingdom taxpayer, you can support Penn and benefit from the tax advantages provided by the UK by making your gift through The University of Pennsylvania (USA) Foundation, Ltd, our UK registered charity. If you you pay taxes in both the UK and the United States, you can claim tax relief in both countries by making your gift to Penn through the Foundation.
